In the Kitchen – Sweet Potato & Honey Dinner Rolls.
So, I had a dum dum moment.
This post was supposed to about Sweet Potato Rolls AND CROCKPOT BBQ BEER CHICKEN.
But, I forgot to take pictures of the chicken and then the chicken on the rolls. Well, I forgot to take pictures of the chicken all together. Woops.
I had envisions of this (picture of rolls) + this (picture of chicken) = this (picture of sandwich) === Happiness!
Alas, you are just stuck with the solo rolls, sans chicken.
But I will say this, the bbq chicken? Amazing. And so simple. You would be dumb not to make it. Dumb.
At any rate, onto these Sweet Potato Rolls. They are meant to be dinner rolls, as stated in the title. But I usually make one pan of dinner sized rolls and one pan of sandwich sized rolls. This gives the option of some chicken sliders or non-sliders. People like choices! Give the people what they want!
And of course these guys are delicious on their own. I made quite a few peanut butter and honey sliders with this batch. Highly recommended.
The recipe is easy – it just takes a little bit of time because of the rising time, times two.

But, they are well worth the wait.
The cats however could care less about the rolls. But when they smelled that chicken, they came rushing into the kitchen. In fact, Mosa climbed up my leg a few times.
That’s something that I will have to try to get a video of one day.
